Gaura has butterfly like flowers are held at tips of long dark stems. They sway and dance in the breeze, hence the name. White flowers with pink sepals.Very tolerant of heat and drought. Needs good winter drainage. Very airy habit responds to cutting back by one half to control height. Deep tap root dislikes transplanting. Will not self-sow.
