More cold hardy than most, Ventura is a large, flat, green fig. The flesh is deep ruby-red with a natural strawberry jam flavor. Trees are small and compact.Fruit ripens mid februrary
Trees need frost protection when young but are quite hardy when mature. Height to 4 metres and is deciduous. Grow in full sun and protect from wind. Respond well to a good manuring annually.
