Wild Rocket has deep green, very serrated leaves that have a stronger flavour than standard Rocket. Pick young leaves regularly to promote fresh growth. Ideal for salads or garnish. Hardy and drought tolerant once established.
Often found in mesclun mix it has a spicy peppery flavour that becomes more intense as plant ages
Direct sow in rows scattering seed sparsely and begin harvesting by picking individual leaves once they reach 2" in length.
Leave one plant to go to seed and you will have a never ending supply of new plants in no time
Not fussy as to soil requirements but do like water and in the middle of summer afternoon shade
1 tsp of seed enough for a summer of salads
