Red Star is a good contrast plant to grow amongst others in the border. Deep burgundy leaves make it standout.
Good in a pot
Prefers full sun but will tolerate a bit of shade.
As it ages leaves will fall off to leave a bare trunk.
Happy in most free draining soild
